Resident Evil 1.5 (фанаты иногда называют её "полторашкой") — название незавершённой первой версии игры Resident Evil 2, разработка которой была отменена.
По мере приближения даты релиза в марте 1997 года разработчики остались недовольны получившимся продуктом. В конечном итоге было принято решение начать разработку с нуля. Через несколько месяцев, в 1998 году, свет увидела итоговая версия Resident Evil 2.

Эта ранняя бета-версия, позднее обозначенная продюсером Синдзи Миками как Resident Evil 1.5, радикально отличалась от окончательного варианта своим сценарием, общим представлением и механикой игры.

В феврале 2013 года стало известно об утечке версии 1.5, имеющей множество багов и недоработок.
Игра уже пропатчена мной (murmur) и полностью работает на оригинальном железе.

Группа фанатов поставила для себя цель закончить данную версию, сделать её играбельной. Фанаты находят материалы с выставок (например, E3), скриншоты и различные концепт-арты, пытаясь доработать игру. В этом деле помогают даже разработчики изначальной RE 1.5.

На ютубе можно найти полное прохождение и более старых версий, хотя на законченную игру местами ну совсем не похоже.

Вероятнее всего не проходима, суда по патч-ноутам, они постоянно восстанавливают и добавляют новые локации.

Это больше сделано для ознакомительных целей, что бы посмотреть, что хотели сделать изначально разработчики.
